The MCAD: Mechanical Circulatory Assist Devices takes advantage of the IA MED’s educational approach to make complex topics easier to understand. More frequently, critical care clinicians are expected to understand and manage a wide range of hemodynamics and circulatory support devices. MCAD will review the fundamentals of hemodynamics, arterial line management, ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and IABP in the transport environment.

Great hemodynamics course including really intuitive pa Cath interpretation. Impella and ECMO information not 100% accurate but great beginner information. Great information about balloon pump and waveform interpretation. The course is great money spent.
The MCAD course was great. It reinforced things I knew and helped me understand those things I didn’t know. I think this course should be required for anyone getting into critical care transport. I’ve told many of my co-workers about it and said they should do the course. Keep up the great work!
Loved it great pace
